Rachel Beredjick-Ray, MSW, LCSW

Staff Psychotherapist

Over the past decade, Rachel has built her career in working alongside parents and families. She believes that a thriving and whole society is one that supports parents and understands their critical role in shaping the emotional wellbeing of the next generation. She began this journey working as a social worker in an early childhood education home visiting program in rural north Florida where she was moved by the unmatched dedication that parents possess in wanting to give their children the best life possible.

She then went on to her Masters in Social Work program where she specialized in community organizing and children and families. After graduating and working in fundraising and development, she continued to feel the pull to work directly with parents again. She then became a certified birth and postpartum doula and shifted to a full time social work role providing individual and group coaching to pregnant people and parents of young children. This work highlighted her interest in working closely with people and issues that often fall to the margins of the perinatal space (i.e. queer and trans parenting, fertility journeys, abortion support, consensual nonmonogamy and co-parenting, etc.).

Rachel considers it an honor to witness and support birthing people, parents, and families during the tender, vulnerable, and challenging times that can come with the perinatal experience and its many transitions. She works with an intersectional, trauma-informed lens to support her clients in navigating their internal worlds, their interpersonal relationships, and the world around them.
